If you have landed here looking for our 2% Hyaluronic Acid Serum Concentrate or our 2% Hyaluronic Acid Water Gel Ultra Hydration Moisturiser, first of all, thank you. Genuinely. Those two little bottles built our hyaluronic range.

Second, they have retired. Both have been discontinued and will not be coming back.

We know that stings when you have finally found something that works. So rather than let you hit a dead link and wonder what happened, we wanted to explain properly, and point you towards what we think you are going to like even more.

Why we retired them

The short version is that we outgrew them.

When we launched the 2% Serum Concentrate and the Water Gel, hyaluronic acid was the whole story. Two products, one job: get water into thirsty skin and keep it there. And they did that job well for years.

But hydration turned out to be more complicated than we first gave it credit for. Getting moisture in is only half of it. Keeping it there means looking after your skin barrier, the layer that decides whether all that hydration stays put or quietly evaporates by lunchtime. That is a job for ceramides, collagen and niacinamide, and a formulation approach we simply did not have when we made the originals.

So instead of tweaking two products, we rebuilt the entire range from the ground up.

What has replaced them

Rather than a straight one for one swap, we have built out a full hydration routine, cleanser through to eye gel, so you can match the texture and the finish to your skin rather than making do.

Here is where your old favourite has landed.

By Nature 2% Hyaluronic Acid Water Gel Ultra Hydration Moisturiser, discontinued

RETIRED

YOUR NEW FAVOURITE

Hyaluronic Acid + Collagen Face Milk Serum

You loved the Serum Concentrate for that fast absorbing, instantly plump feeling on damp skin. The Face Milk Serum keeps that lightweight, sink straight in quality but adds collagen to the mix, so you are supporting bounce and firmness alongside the pure hydration hit. Same step in your routine, same slot in the bathroom cabinet, just a more complete formula.

Also worth a look: if your skin runs on the drier side and you found the original serum needed layering, the Hyaluronic Acid + Ceramide Skin Barrier Day Cream does the sealing work the old serum needed a partner for.

RETIRED

YOUR NEW FAVOURITE

Hyaluronic Acid + Collagen Bounce Gel Moisturizer

This is the closest thing to a direct successor. The Water Gel's whole appeal was that weightless, water based, non sticky finish, the air con antidote. The Bounce Gel keeps that texture and adds collagen for a plusher, springier feel. If you used the Water Gel year round because it never felt heavy in summer or thin in winter, this is your one.

Also worth a look: if you were using the Water Gel mostly because your skin was reactive and you needed something calming, the Skin Barrier Day Cream is the more protective option. It is built for skin that gets easily upset by weather, wind and heating.

Building your new hydration routine

The old advice still holds. Hyaluronic acid works best on damp skin, because it needs water to pull in and hold onto. Apply it to bone dry skin in a dry room and it has nothing to work with.

1. Cleanse
Foam Mousse or Jelly Cleanser. Cool water, gentle hands.

2. Do not fully dry your face
Pat, do not rub, and leave your skin slightly damp.

3. Serum
A few drops of Face Milk Serum while skin is still damp.

4. Seal
Bounce Gel or Skin Barrier Day Cream. This is the step that stops everything you just applied from evaporating.

Questions we are expecting

Can I still buy the old products anywhere?
No. Both have sold through and will not be restocked. If you find them on a third party site, check the batch date. Skincare has a shelf life and we cannot vouch for anything sold outside our own store.

Were the old formulas discontinued because of a problem?
Not at all. They were reformulated out of existence in the nicest possible way. We found better ways to deliver the same result, and it made more sense to build a proper range than to keep two products on life support.

I have delicate skin and the old Water Gel was the only thing that did not react. What now?
Start with the Skin Barrier Day Cream. It is the most protective option in the range and the one we would point Fragile skin towards first. And if you are unsure, get in touch. We are happy to talk it through.

Thank you for backing those two products for as long as you did. We think you will find the replacements are worth the change.
